JDMC study guide

(This page is about the online book, there are also related articles on the JHM blog.)

JDMC is a free book. You can read it online (opens in a new tab), download it, print it out, edit it, translate it, modify it, even sell it. We encourage you to do any or all of these things.

Get excited about Jesus, Disciple, Mission, Church (JDMC)! It begins with Jesus, shows how he leads us to become and make disciples, identifies the mission that is stimulated as a result, and explains how church grows out of that mission.

JDMC is based on Alan Hirsch’s ideas expressed in his book ‘The Forgotten Ways’. Alan has published other great books on particular aspects of his thinking, and ‘The forgotten Ways’ brings them together in one place. But there is no brief primer and no simple and short course for individual or group learning. JDMC attempts to fill this need.
