JDMC study guide

(This page is about the online book, there are also related articles on the JHM blog.)

JDMC is a free book. You can read it online (when it opens you’ll find print and download options), edit it, translate it, modify it, even sell it. I encourage you to do any or all of these things.

Get excited about Jesus, Disciple, Mission, Church (JDMC)! It begins with Jesus, shows how he leads us to become and make disciples, identifies the mission that is stimulated as a result, and explains how church grows out of that mission.

JDMC is based on Alan Hirsch’s ideas expressed in his book ‘The Forgotten Ways’. Alan has published other great books on particular aspects of his thinking, and ‘The forgotten Ways’ brings them together in one place. But there is no brief primer and no simple and short course for individual or group learning. JDMC attempts to fill this need.

The work is copyright, not so that I can charge for it, but so that I can make sure it always remains free. The full copyright details are provided by the Creative Commons link below. In outline you are free to use, modify, reproduce, distribute and even charge for the material, but you must provide attribution and the same free rights that I do.

If you like JDMC and find it useful, you can buy me a coffee. It’s not required, but always appreciated.
