(This page is about the online book, there’s also a growing serialised version and there are related articles on the JHM blog.)
JDMC is a free book. You can read it online (when it opens you’ll find print and download options), edit it, translate it, modify it, even sell it. I encourage you to do any or all of these things. Hint: If you want to read online I suggest you open links in a new browser tab or window, This will save you the annoyance of returning to the front cover every time you return to the book.
You can return to this article from the book by clicking the first link on page 4.
Get excited about Jesus, Disciple, Mission, Church (JDMC)! It begins with Jesus, shows how he leads us to become and make disciples, identifies the mission that is stimulated as a result, and explains how church grows out of that mission.
JDMC is based on Alan Hirsch’s ideas expressed in his book ‘The Forgotten Ways’. Alan has published other great books on particular aspects of his thinking, and ‘The forgotten Ways’ brings them together in one place. But there is no brief primer and no simple and short course for individual or group learning. JDMC attempts to fill this need.
